Meet the Founder
Eilís O’Connell-Sussman, Ph.D., BCBA, LBA-NY
Dr. O’Connell-Sussman is a Board Certified and Licensed Behavior Analyst and certified special education teacher based in New York with over a decade of experience supporting children, families, and professionals. She is passionate about helping individuals build meaningful skills and empowering caregivers through evidence-based, compassionate support.
She earned her Ph.D. in Applied Behavior Analysis from Endicott College under the mentorship of Dr. Mary Jane Weiss and currently serves as Thesis Coordinator for the Institute of Applied Behavioral Science (IABS) at Endicott. Her research focuses on early language development within infant–caregiver interactions and has been recognized and published in peer-reviewed journals.
Clinically, Dr. O’Connell-Sussman has worked across schools, clinics, and early intervention programs throughout Long Island and New York City. She has specialized training in the assessment and treatment of challenging behavior and extensive experience in family coaching and supervision for developing professionals.
Her approach is rooted in collaboration, compassion, and individualized care by supporting families and future behavior analysts in achieving lasting, positive outcomes.
